Full-Time Position – Telemarketer & Lead Generator
£ 17k Basic + Commission
(Starting Salary – depending upon experience)
We’re recruiting – Due to growth and expansion we’re looking to add another Telemarketer to our office-based team in Dereham.
This role, in a small, family-run business, represents a vital part of our overall Sales Process. Generating leads from outbound calls to qualified data, you will look to engage new Prospects and identify opportunities to present our sales offer and proposition.
You will be working as part of a professional team of independent specialists and representing global leading brands, such as TomTom Telematics.
Setting appointments for face-to-face meetings, between our Director and potential customers, this role focuses on Lead Generation. In other cases, appointments can be booked for Online Demonstrations of our software solutions for better Fleet Management.
The successful applicant needs to be self-organised, work using a high degree of initiative and maintain focus. Of course, good telephone skills and excellent communication are essential to the role.
From generating leads and setting appointments you’ll be following the progress of the sales process and supporting other team members to win new business and support our clients through their buying cycle.
Although not essential from the outset, you’ll learn about the technology-based solutions we supply to our clients. So an ability to quickly learn and understand how Telematics and other related solutions will be important.
The role also attracts Sales Commission from direct activity. With client sales ranging across a broad spectrum in terms of volume, the opportunity to earn good commissions to the right person determined to win new business. More details on request.

Essential Skills –
Practical Commercial Experience – an understanding of business sales and purchasing
Strong Communication Skills – dealing at Manager and Director Level, via Telephone and Email
Good Literacy and Numeracy – solid working-knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of Salesforce would be a significant advantage
Confidence and determination to drive sales activity through self-motivation and ambition
Diligence and serious commitment to supporting Directors of a fast-growing technology-based service provider
Any practical knowledge of the transport industry, fleet logistics or similar would be a major advantage.
